By Kamoka Camp
We’ve spent an incredible week at World Travel Market (WTM) Africa, and the energy here is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Notably, we aren’t just here to showcase our camp; we are here with a clear goal. To boost our visibility and secure the kind of partnerships that will help us grow our mission.
Why We Are Building New Partnerships
For us, it is never just about “selling a room”. Indeed, we are here to promote a mission that goes far beyond traditional tourism. To create a movement that positions travel as a force for real change. We don’t offer “luxury for status”. Instead, we offer access to something rare, authentic, and deeply meaningful.
Furthermore, to keep this vision alive, we need to connect with partners who share our commitment to ecotourism and social impact. By creating new patterns with travel leaders who follow a sustainable model, we ensure that:
- Our impact is real: We want to work with those who believe we can “make a real difference” in the Limpopo.
- We grow together: Our tone is inclusive and collaborative, focusing on shared experiences and mutual respect with our communities.
- We educate and empower: We choose partners who value a responsible approach—highlighting ethics and sustainability while keeping the message positive.
Insights from the Frontline
Additionally, attending the ecotourism conference alongside industry visionaries like Debbie Hindle, Emilie Hagedorn, Julie Cheetham, Knomosto Ramothea, and Lisa Scriven was incredibly insightful. Indeed, these conversations confirmed that our commitment to immersive, purpose-driven travel is exactly where the industry is heading.

More Than a Stay, An Experience
We want our partners and guests to imagine what it feels like to be with us. To “wake up… to the sound of wild animals” and engage in “immersive and impactful holidays”. To conclude, this is a personal and heartfelt journey, rooted in real stories and passion.
Let’s make it happen together. 🤝🦁
