What types of accommodation does Kamoka offer?

Kamoka offers two beautifully designed tiny houses that combine comfort, simplicity, and immersion in nature. Each tiny house is fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing and authentic bush getaway in South Africa.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We kindly ask guests to respect these times to allow our team to prepare the accommodation for incoming visitors.

How can I book a stay at Kamoka?

Bookings can be made directly through the Kamoka website. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need for your stay.

Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

Please refer to our booking terms and conditions or contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate changes whenever possible.

Are pets allowed?

Please contact us before booking if you would like to travel with a pet, as approval depends on the circumstances and wildlife considerations in the area.

Absolutely. Kamoka is a popular romantic getaway destination thanks to its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful natural surroundings, and private accommodation designed for relaxation and quality time together.

Can families or groups stay at Kamoka?

Yes. While each tiny house is designed to comfortably accommodate two guests, an additional mattress can be arranged for a child upon request. Kamoka is ideal for couples, small families, or friends looking for a unique nature escape.

Are there activities available during the stay?

Thanks to the partnership between Kamoka and DAKTARI, guests have the unique opportunity to participate in selected NGO activities. This offers an authentic insight into local conservation and environmental education projects. A tour of the NGo is included in your stay, don’t hesitate to ask about it!

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Both tiny houses have Wi-Fi access, and the password can be found inside the accommodation.

Are the tiny houses equipped for cooking?

Yes. Both tiny houses feature a kitchenette equipped with essentials, including a kettle, a French press, crockery, and kitchen utensils for simple meal preparation. A private braai is also available on the terrace of each house.

Are bed linens and towels provided?

Yes. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided for all guests. As part of our commitment to sustainable tourism and water conservation, towels are changed every 3 days and bed linen every 5 days, unless guests specifically request more frequent changes.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free on-site parking is available for guests throughout their stay.

Is Kamoka open all year round?

Yes. Kamoka Bush Camp welcomes guests throughout the year. Each season offers a unique experience, from lush green summer landscapes to the warm colours and wildlife viewing opportunities of the dry season.

We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for the season, walking shoes for exploring the outdoors, sunscreen, a hat, and anything else that will help you enjoy a relaxing bush escape.

Are there shops or services nearby?

The nearest shops and services are approximately one hour’s drive from Kamoka, in Hoedspruit. We recommend purchasing any essentials before arriving at the camp.
